    Some journals that publish scholarly articles are open access—that is, they make their materials freely available online, outside of paid databases.

    In the Directory of Open Access Journals, you can search for open access, peer-reviewed journal articles in a wide range of academic subjects. Note that UDC Search includes resources from DOAJ.
