Most of the library's online resources, such as article databases and e-books, can be used off-campus anywhere you have access to the internet.
To access these items you must use the links provided on the library website then log in using your UDC credentials. If prompted, UDC students and faculty are EXTERNAL users.
The UDC Library on the Van Ness campus provides an accessible workstation including a computer equipped with JAWS, Magic, and OpenBook software; a low-vision, large print keyboard; a digital scanner; and a document viewer.
The library space at the Lamond-Riggs location has a workstation including a computer equipped with JAWS, Magic, and OpenBook software; a low-vision, large-print keyboard; and a digital scanner.
Hearing aid compatible headsets (with microphones) are available by request at the Circulation Desk at the Van Ness Location.

The UDC Library spaces on the Van Ness and Lamond-Riggs campuses are wheelchair accessible. Library staff and faculty are available to retrieve material which may be difficult to access.
Many full-text articles are published in an Adobe PDF format that can be automatically converted from text to speech. Adobe Reader includes a read aloud function (under the View menu). Additionally, many of our online resources have text-to-speech capabilities for some or all full-text content.
