Director's Welcome

Welcome to the University of the District of Columbia's Learning Resource Division/University Library!

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the University Library, a center of knowledge, discovery, and innovation. Our library is dedicated to supporting your academic journey and fostering a vibrant learning community. Whether you are here to conduct research, study, or explore new ideas; our extensive collection of resources, state-of-the-art facilities, and dedicated librarians and staff are here to assist you.

We offer a wide range of services, including research assistance, study spaces, and access to both digital and print materials. Additionally, we provide many technological options to access resources. Feel free to utilize the Innovation and Research Space, training lab, group and individual study rooms, family-friendly study pace, and our many computers. The University Library's digital repository is available for users to explore the University's scholarly history and digitized special collections. Users may also request to visit the University Archives to delve into the long history of the institution. Our library houses special collections, including rare books, manuscripts, and unique digital archives that provide valuable insights into various fields of study,

We regularly host workshops, seminars, and events that cover a wide range of topics, from research skills to technology training. You can check our events calendar for upcoming sessions.
