UDC's Digital Media program provides students with education in the techniques and disciplines of digital media, public relations, and professional communication. The program is designed to expose, explore, and solve the urban problems of the city via digital media, newsgathering, reporting and editing, and video and film production. This guide provides resources and tips to help support your research and assignments in digital media.
The PBS Producer’s Handbook is designed to help producers create and deliver content for PBS. It is also the handbook used in most UDC Digital Media courses. This comprehensive Handbook provides detailed information on a wide range of producer responsibilities and requirements, including production and promotional deliverables, broadcast standards and practices and general policies.
The guide is freely accessible online and may also be downloaded as a PDF.
We have created several Help Guides to help you navigate using library and information resources and tools. These guides are designed to walk you through finding what you need while offering tips, tricks, and other useful information.
