The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) is a Funding Information Network (FIN) partner of Candid. The Network is comprised of libraries, community foundations, NGOs, and nonprofit resource centers across the country and around the world. As a FIN partner, UDC provides free access to the most comprehensive information available on foundation and corporate giving. It features print and electronic resources as well as professional staff to assist visitors.
Candid was born February 1, 2019, when Foundation Center and GuideStar joined forces. Candid connects people who want to change the world with the resources they need to do it. Every year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. Candid finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters. Through research, collaboration, and training, Candid connects nonprofits, foundations, and individuals to the resources they need to do good, building on 88 years of dedicated experience.

UPDATE: Effective June 1, 2022 Candid will no longer offer remote access through the FIN Network. Access to the FDO is still available at the library.
