The Acquisition Gateway, built by GSA, helps federal government buyers from all agencies act as one acquisition community. The Acquisition Gateway helps federal acquisition professionals learn what they need to know, connect with others to collaborate and communicate, and act to accomplish their acquisition tasks effectively.

Federal agencies hire civil, mechanical, aerospace, computer and electrical engineers in a wide variety of positions. For example, aerospace and computer engineers research spaceflight technology at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Electrical engineers assess the reliability of our nation’s power grid at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

NCCER is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation created in 1996 as The National Center for Construction Education and Research. It was developed with the support of more than 125 construction CEOs and various association and academic leaders who united to revolutionize training for the construction industry. Sharing the common goal of developing a safe and productive workforce, these companies created a standardized training and credentialing program for the industry.

Our mission is to provide HQUSACE staff support; and to direct the technical aspects of engineering, construction management, environmental protection and restoration, operations, maintenance and repair activities of USACE missions worldwide.
