Image of hands over a map with text - Your Guides to ResearchResearch is a process. Sometimes it's easy; sometimes it's hard. Like every process, you have to get started somewhere. We have developed guides to help you find your way.

If you're just getting started with research, check out our Library Orientation guide. It walks you through the basics of using the library and points you to places to get started with basic research.

If you know a bit more about what you want to research, you can check our our Subject Guides. We have guides for every single program taught at UDC. There are also specialty guides for popular topics like Black Lives Matter, DC History, Data & Statistics, the Freshman Book Series, and more.

Finally, we have a series of Help Guides that walk you through how to find and use resources.

We're updating these guides and developing new guides all the time! If you want to request a guide, email us at ask@udc.libanswers.com.
