This month, we're spotlighting one of our favorite databases, Opposing Viewpoints in Context. This is a premier online resource covering today’s hottest social issues, from immigration to fast fashion and artificial intelligence.

    What's In It

With over 20,000 viewpoints, approximately 19,000 articles, interactive maps, and infographics, you will be prepared to argue any side of an issue. Opposing Viewpoints includes everything from peer-reviewed articles to news stories. It also has a ton of audio and video content to explore. Article commentaries in featured viewpoints provide supportive context. Viewpoints are collected from the opinion sections of a variety of published sources, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The American Conservative, and National Review.
