Cultural traditions, especially ones connected to the holidays, can bring people together in a way quite unlike anything else. Sometimes traditions are passed down through informal means like a conversation between mother and daughter and sometimes a whole town comes out to celebrate a moment, a practice or belief with hundreds or thousands of other people. One of the best things about cultural traditions is that they are shared with others in a community.
