Low-Risk Learning Zone

The University has a new low-risk learning zone that is now open!

This new zone is available in the 4250 Connecticut Avenue building on the sixth floor. This is a safe, socially-distanced computer lab. You can reserve your seat here. Currently, there are 20 seats available but, eventually, the zone will have a maximum of 50 stations.

The zone is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm. 

Please be aware: if you reserve a computer and DO NOT show up for your reservation, staff may cancel your reservation and give it to another user who is waiting.

To book your seat, follow the steps below.

1. Go to the reservation page at https://udc.libcal.com/reserve/4250.
2. Select the date you wish to use the low-risk zone using the "Go to Date" calendar.
3. Select a seat from the list (they're all the same).
4. Book your time by clicking on an open block. (Available times are GREEN.) The reservation defaults to 4 hours.
5. Scroll down to the bottom and click the blue "Submit Times" button.
6. Complete the reservation form.
7. You will be taken to the confirmation page and an emailed confirmation will be sent to you. (Check your spam folder!)
