    Love Your Library

by Meghan Kowalski on 2024-02-14T08:00:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

It's Valentine's Day and we wanted to share a few reasons why you might want to love your library.

    • A Warm Welcome: Everyone is welcome to use the library whether you are a student, faculty, staff member, or from the DC community.
    • Care and Support: The library is here to help you succeed! Our team is ready to assist with whatever you need including answering your questions, connecting you with materials, and helping you figure out what's next. We are here to save you time and frustration.
    • Lots of Stuff to Give: If you need a book, article, video, data set, or any other piece of information, we've got it! And we want to give it to you for free! If we don't have it, we will find someplace else that does. Our librarians are here to save you time by helping you track down what matters to you.
    • A Special Space: While our library may be in a temporary location, we provide a comfortable space for you to work and study. We have private study pods and group study areas.
    • Tech Tools: We've got computers (PCs and Macs!), software, photocopiers/printers/scanners, and a dedicated accessibility workstation. Need a headset? We've got those for checkout (and they're hearing aid compatible!)
    • Learning Opportunities: We are here to support every kind of learning. We offer webinars, a self-paced Library 101 course on Blackboard, and research guides to help you indulge your curiosity.
    • The Library Loves You Back: The library is your number one fan! We are here to encourage you every step of the way. We are amazed at all the amazing and innovative things you create and share. Firebirds soar!

What makes you love the library?
