    Join us during the Fall semester for a FREE webinar series designed to increase your research skills.

    • Introduction to the Library
      • September 3 @ 1pm
      • This session will provide an orientation to the library, its resources, and its services.

    • Library 101
      • September 17 @ 1pm 
      • This session will provide an introduction to and walkthrough of Library 101, our tutorial organization on Blackboard.

    • Beyond the UDC Library
      • October 1 @ 1pm
      • This session walks you through all of the amazing resources available through UDC, at local libraries, and online.

    • Searching Library Databases
      • October 15 @ 1pm
      • This session provides an introduction to the basics of using library databases to find articles, books, and more.

    • Advanced Search Techniques
      • October 29 @ 1pm
      • This session builds on the previous session of searching library databases and presents advanced search techniques and skills to help you find the right information for your research.

    • Using Sources and Citations
      • November 12 @ 1pm
      • Once you have your sources, you need to use and cite them. This session walks you through how to properly use and cite the sources you find.

    • Reference and Research Management (Zotero)
      • December 3 @ 1pm
      • Research can sometimes get unwieldy. This session offers ways to develop a research plan, keep track of your research, and how to use our recommendation citation manager, Zotero.

    Each webinar will last for up to one hour. The sessions will be held on Zoom (access through the session links above or register here). Each session will provide approximately 30 minutes of content with the remaining time reserved for Q&A. Time will be given for unrecorded Q&A as well. 

    All of the webinars will be recorded and registrants will receive a link to the recording. Recordings will also be posted on YouTube.
