The Learning Resources Division offers a library dedicated to students attending classes at 801 North Capital. The space offers computer workstations, printing, technical support, and a reference librarian. In addition to this space, students at 801 have full use of the library's online resources which are offered through its website.
Students at 801 are also welcomed and encouraged to use the library at Van Ness or schedule online appointments with any reference librarian.
No matter where you are taking classes, every library resource and service is available to you!
The LRD resource room is the central location for on-site resources and services. It provides circulation and reference services and there are computer stations, printers, and a photocopier for student use. Adaptive software for visually or hearing impaired patrons is also available.
Students at the community college may request books from the UDC collection using the online catalog (select delivery location as UDC and indicate "community college" in the Special Instructions field). These items will be delivered to the LRD resource room. At this time, the scheduled delivery days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Instruction sessions on library resources and services will be available on a scheduled basis.
