Hospitality Management and Tourism: Home

Designed to provide information resources for students in UDC hospitality classes

Introduction

"True hospitality consists of giving the best of yourself to your guests." - Eleanor Roosevelt

The University of the District of Columbia's program in hospitality management provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to serve in entry positions in the hospitality industry - the second largest industry in the Washington metropolitan area. This guide provides access to resources that give information about the professional, planning, organizing, leadership, and quality control issues in hospitality service organizations, including hotels and restaurants. Information on the legal and marketing aspects of hospitality service organizations is also included.

Help Guides

We have created several Help Guides to help you navigate using library and information resources and tools. These guides are designed to walk you through finding what you need while offering tips, tricks, and other useful information.

You can see a full list of our subject guides in our Index of Research Guides.
