This guide is intended to help students cite their sources according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition (2010).

Journal Article with more than 6 or more authors (p. 198)

When a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is listed on the journal article, include it in your reference. If you have acessed a journal article online, and if there is no DOI, then give the URL of the journal's website.

General Format

In-Text Citation (Paraphrase):

(Author Surname et al., Year)

 

In-Text Citation (Quotation):

(Author Surname et al., Year, page number)

Author Surname, First Initial. Second Initial., Author Surname, First Initial. Second Initial.,
