The Library This Semester

The Library looks a bit different this semester. In order to ensure social distancing (and to prepare for our upcoming remodel), the Library will be in two locations for the Fall 2021 semester.

Below is a list of services and resources available at each location. Reservations to use these spaces are NOT required but they are recommended. You can make a reservation for either location here.

Main Library (Building 39, Level B)

Hours: 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday; 9 am to 3 pm, Saturday

• Desktop Computers, Wi-Fi
• Printing, Photocopying, and Scanning (FREE!)
• Circulation
  • Book Check Out
  • CLS/ILL Book Pick Up
  • Reserves (Textbooks on Reserve)
• Reference Assistance
  • In-Person at the Desk
  • Online via Appointment
• Collections
  • General Stacks
  • Reference Stacks
  • Archives & Special Collections

Rise Center (4250 Connecticut Ave - Building 71, 6th Floor)

Hours: 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday; 9 am to 3 pm, Saturday

• Laptop Loaner Pickup
• Learning Pods (Desktop computers in private study cubicles)
• Printing, Photocopying, and Scanning (FREE!)
• Media Services
  • Equipment Pickup
  • Media Services Technician Support

NOTE: There are no in-person library services available at 801 North Capital this semester.
